The Haganes Revolt was a regional ethno-religious revolt that took place in Normandie between II-VII.1752 AN. It was also the first Austrmarker revolt without Vanic involvement. The revolt occurred in the County of Haganes within the Lordship of Falaise and spread to surrounding counties. The revolt was led by Egil and his followers, who combined Nazarene with Norse mysticism. Egil's followers began the revolt in Haganes during the harsh winter months and quickly invaded the surrounding area. Norman forces waited until summer to quell the revolt, and in V.1752 AN, numerous reinforcements arrived in Haganes. The revolt was suppressed in VII.1752 AN, and Egil was executed.
Egil's execution served as a warning to other ethnic groups, but it led to further Austrmarker revolt attempts and a series of events that prompted the Kernevons to revolt as well.
