Insula Aemilia

Insula Aemilia is an island-state off the coast of Corum. It is governed by Princess Emilia Antoinette and is a state (land) of the Lanzerwald Republic. The main island is known as Murder and was given to Princess Emilia Antoinette as a location for her exile after she was deposed following the 1751 military coup in the Confoederatio Aemilia and named after her, like the Confoederatio Aemilia was previously. In 1753 the fortress Eishafen was established in the sea strait south of Murder, and a significant area on Hypernostria was claimed and the city of Snaiwdene was incorporated into the republic as part of Insula Aemilia.
