Inés Carmona is a New Alexandrian physicist who directs the Institute for Wide-Bandgap Electronics at the Aldurian Science and Technology Campus in Punta Santiago, Alduria. She has led the Institute since it opened in 1756 AN under the advanced-sciences strand of the Aldurian Economic Diversification and Recovery Act, 1755.
Carmona directs the device-engineering side of Foundation 1768, the federal diamond-semiconductor program, whose work is confined to diamond power electronics. In 1757 AN, under her direction, the Institute produced the first diamond-based power devices manufactured in the Federation.
