Hofbierhuis Vinandy is the best known beer hall and beer spa in Batavia.

Beer hall

The large hall in the Hofbierhuis is one of the largest beer halls in Batavia. During the beer festival, the hall is only open to invited guests. Among the regular guests is the king of Batavia. Beer is drunk at the long tables in the hall, along with sung and bratwurst. A personal beer mug is available for regular and special guests, which is stored in a mug safe.

The large hall can accommodate 1500 guests. During the beer festival, bands perform on stage, especially from the "Oompah-pah" genre.

Mug safe

The special mug safe contains personal mugs. Places in the mug safe are divided by the king of Batavia. The people with a personal mug in the safe are:

• Craitman H. Pellegrino
• Vidar Salim Livarson Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed al-Osman bin Sathrati of Waffel-Paine (posthumously)

Destroyed mug

After the diplomatic ties were broken, the mug of Nathan Anders Aharsi Waffel-Paine of Drak was also destroyed. Because the late Johan Anderion Avon-El Ayreon-Kalirion was suspected of high treason, his mug was destroyed.

Mug ceremony

In the run-up to the beerfest, the mug of the King of Batavia is transported with some ceremony to 's Koningenwaarde. With the greatest care, the mug is taken out of the safe. Then the mug is brought to the station on a cushion. There, the Royal Train is ready and the mug is driven to 's Koningenwaarde. In 's Koningenwaarde, by car to the Blanckenhof Palace.

Beer garden

A beer garden has also been set up in a courtyard garden during the beer festival. There is room for 1000 guests. The square in front of the Hofbierhuis was also designed as a beer garden during the beer festival. That gives room for a few thousand visitors.

Beer spa

A beer spa has been set up in the cellars of the Hofbierhuis. There are several beer baths, filled with a special wellness beer of around 35 degrees Celsius. After the bath you can rest on a straw bed.
