Hayat Markenburger is a politician of Kurum Ash-Sharqia and a member of the Islamic People's Party. In 1721 AN she succeeded Naoufal Molenaar as Grand Vizier after his resignation on the Nobility Bill Controversy.

After the 1731 expansion the economy started to fail, with a budget deficit and cuts as a result. She lost the 1736 elections and stepped down as party leader.
