The Hauptstadtbezirk Sankt Ludwigshafen is the district in the Lanzerwald Republic that is home to the national capital of Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen. It was established in IX.1753 to create a capital city that was not part of any of the other subdivisions of the republic. Its territory matches that of the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen when it was founded in 1680.
