Glacei National Forest
Glacei National Forest is a state-owned national park and forest preserve within the Grand Duchy of Lac Glacei, and within the Canton of Glacei. It is the largest national park within the country and boasts the country's tallest peak, the Isenhorn. The park is operated by the Department of Parks and Recreation and maintains a staff of 720, which includes park rangers. Around 1000 acres are set aside for sustainable logging, mostly within areas already disturbed by previous human activities (such as farming). The park is a major tourist attraction, and brings in an estimated 3 million visitors per year. Activities include hiking, mountaineering, biking, swimming, and skiing. Cabins are available for rent seasonally as well as camping facilities.
