Gödelitz, officially known as the Free Imperial City of Gödelitz (Cibolan-Saxon: Freie Reichsstadt Gödelitz) is the third largest city in the United Principalities of Cibola.
History
Gödelitz was first established as a small spa town by Kingdom of Monovia under the name Gersons around 1520 AN. After the collapse of Monovia, the town would constantly find itself under new rule every few decades, switching between Alexandrian, Germanian, and Treisenberger control. By the time of Lanzerwald's collapse, Gödelitz was reduced to a small village with few houses. In 1725 AN, the city signed the Proclamation of Weisenburg and joined the United Principalities. Since then, the city has grown to be a large center of industry, textiles, and tourism. The Imperial Estate owns several palaces in the area, with many being open to public as museums and their gardens being opened as parks.
