The term Fanminzhu is Jingdaoese for "against democracy" and refers to a decree issued by the Chidao Emperor in 1659 that is called Against democracy on our continent in common Micrasian. The decree marked a sharp change from the Xianfa Constitution which had made Jingdao a constitutional monarchy. The Fanminzhu Decree declared that no power can never be derived from a mandate of the masses, foreign influences or farcical aquatic ceremonies but only through the Gods, who are represented by the Heavenly Light. The document lays the basis for the Jingdaoese state philosophy of Jingbuist Absolutism, which is based on the Jingdaoese state religion Tianchaodao. In the document the emperor, who was only two years old at the time, leaves some room for other forms of government in overseas territories held by Jingdao, but he would abandon all these territories later during his reign.
