Relations between the Federal Republic of the Forgotten Dark Berry Islands and the Order of the Holy Lakes have been amicable and collaborative since their establishment in 1693. These relations are underpinned by the Hurmu–Dark Berry Islands Treaty and the Xäiville Convention, facilitating free trade and cooperation across various sectors. The two nations share a maritime border, further enhancing their connectivity.
From 1719 to 1726, Sooraj Wasli served as the Order's ambassador to the Dark Berry Islands. Since his tenure ended, the position has remained vacant.
