Damenwald

Damenwald is a city in the Südmark, a state of the Aemilian Federation. The city was established by Razdora del Bosque de Lanzas in 1739 AN. Four years before, informal discussions between Aemilia and Natopia took place to make sure that no conflict would arise, should the Confoederatio Aemilia, as Aemilia was called at the time, should try to annex the region. Razdora was sent there by the Aemilian Senate with instructions to build cordial relations with any tribes living in the Green and offering them the safety and stability of the rule of law. When she found the location where she would later construct Damenwald, she fell in love with the views on the mountains and the vicinity of a navigable river, as well as a beautiful forest. The name Damenwald was given by locals who noticed that the group of colonists that Razdora led consisted solely of women.
