The Corum Electric Fence is a defensive barrier separating East Zimia and the Wallis Islands's semi-exclave of Western Corum from the Green. Construction began in 1739 AN, following the Çakari evacuation of Jaihabar. It consists of parallel 6 metre high fences, supported by a system of watchtowers and sensor networks, and was originally approximately 432 kilometres in length.
Expansion

.
The Fence was substantially altered from 1746 AN. Some 312 kilometres of the original route was abandoned, and the remaining portion expanded by 180 kilometres in a line running roughly southeast from the coast to the New Batavian border.
