Ceruleans in Aerla (Cerulean: Крлские в Аэрле, Aerlan Commonspeak: Kërulyans in Ayrle) refer to the Cerulean community residing within the borders of Aerla. Most Ceruleans in Aerla live in the rural area of the Six Parishes, living a largely agrarian lifestyle. As of 1733 AN there were 1,231 Ceruleans living throughout Aerla.
The first Ceruleans that came to Aerla were political dissidents fleeing the Communist takeover of their country in 1709 AN. Most of these early exiles settled in Noursala and surrounding suburbs. After the Normark-Cerulea war of 1727, Operation Ulysses, and the subsequent Award of Cerulea in VI.1733 AN, a number of refugees made their way to Aerla's borders. After thorough background checks by the State Security Directorate for any beneficiaries of the Cerulean regimes, these refugees were allowed to apply for Aerlan citizenship and purchase government-owned land in the Six Parishes.
