Camelwool is a company that is registered in and operates from the the South Sea Islands that is owned by Galadriel Camel. The company owns seven herds of sheep, 2,000 hectares of land and employs 20 people. After shearing and spinning, some of the yarn is shipped to the Confoederatio Aemilia to be used in clothes, most of the yarn is directly woven into fabrics that are then shipped to Aemilia. Besides the production of wool products, the company also produces mutton and lamb from excess animals, mostly for the domestic market of the South Sea Islands.
The company was founded on 7.X.1729 when Galadriel Camel visited the South Sea Islands and acquired already existing herds and production facilities. Trade between the South Sea Islands and the Confoederatio Aemilia was facilitated by the recent ascension of Aemilia into the Xäiville Convention and Camel intended to make the most of that. The headquarters of the company was established in the city of Zuid-Richel, near the South Seas International Airport and the Zuid-Richel Seaport, to ease the export of products to the Aemilian Confederation.
