Bitey kitty

The bitey kitty (Panthera mordeansis) is a feline species that was created as a pet. It is a hybridisation between a Jingdaoese valleytiger (Panthera jingdaoesis) and the domestic cat (Felis catus), with roughly 60% valleytiger dna after several rounds of breeding and targeted gene-editing.

Bitey kitties are significantly larger than domestic cats, but can be kept as pets in the Confoederatio Aemilia. They can reach a weight of up to 30 kilograms, and a nose-to-tail length of 200 centimetres. The coat of bitey kitties is black, with a deep blue hue.

Where Jingdaoese valleytigers were designed to see humans as prey, but not attack ethnic Jingdaoese citizens, bitey kitties have a genetic predisposition which causes them to attack when they witness misogyny. When they attack they often bite in exposed limbs, such as the hands, but also other protruding body parts, and scratch in the face with their sharp nails. They are virtually harmless in normal situations.
