Bandar-é Zinjibar
Bandar-é Zinjibar, administrative capital of that portion Norasht province presently under the sovereignty of the Suren Confederacy. Spared the worst of the atomic immolation of Babkha in 1598 AN, this sub-equatorial port was the site of one of the palaces built by the last Shah, which may be found in the foothills on the jungle's edge, overlooking the harbour city and the Gulf of Zinjibar beyond. Prior to the reoccupation of Mehrshahr Bandar-é Zinjibar was the second city of the Confederacy in terms of population. As it is the city remains the premiere port of the Confederacy, in spite of growing competition from Kara. As repository of Babkhan-era architecture squeezed into a couple main streets, the city is one of the more attractive seaside resorts, in spite of the busy port adjacent that specialises in the coastal trade with Nivardom.
