Barrington participated in their first and only World Cup qualification campaign, finishing fourth in their group of five teams. The team failed to win a match, however four draws, including a 1–1 home draw against Valencia helped them avoid a last-placed finish. The team's 4–1 away defeat to Valencia remains their biggest defeat to this day.
