The Declaration of a Quarantine in regards to the Confoederatio Aemilia was issued at Chryse on VII.1728 AN by the High Presidium of the Benacian Union and countersigned by emissaries of Normark and the Suren Confederacy.

Under the terms of the quarantine regime, nationals of the Confoederatio Aemilia would be obliged to undergo forty days of isolation at specially established internment sites, monitored by communicable disease control specialists and exorcists before being permitted to apply for entry visas, with a further thirty day approval process, before receiving permission to cross into the territory of the signatory states.

The declaration was reported to have been prompted by the association of eminent subjects of the Confoederatio Aemilia with the daemonic incursion at Murder, and the reported efforts of that confederation to increase its contacts with the wider world, elevating the risk of societal contagion for the Union-State and its partners.

Critics have accused the Benacian Union of instigating a non-belligerent policy of formal state hostility towards the Confoederatio Aemilia with the enactment of this measure.
