The Birgesh Gridiron League (BGL) is a semi-professional Amorian football league in Birgeshir. The regular season consists of five games and the top teams of both conferences (Day Conference and Night Conference) play for the national title. The season begins in February and ends in March with games played on Fridays.
History
American football (called "Amorian football" in Micras) has its deep roots in Deniz Yürük's life,being a sport that fascinated him since 1995 (along with Baseball). As years passed away,however,the Tsaloj started to prefer Rugby over American football for its game rules and this is the main reason why Rugby League and Union are more popular in Birgeshir. Nonetheless in December 2018,soon after Birgeshir joined the MGFF,Deniz decided to found a domestic league in order to both take full MGFF membership and encourage birgesh people to play the sport.
