George I (Patrick David Michael George; 20th September 1917 - 27th February 1982) was King of Victoria from 16th July 1946 until his death at the age of 65 in 1982. Although King George never expected to become Sovereign, his 36 year reign as Head of State is the longest in Victorian history.
King George is the only Victorian Monarch to have been Heir Presumptive.
