HIS ROYAL MAJESTY August Charles II, By the Grace of God King of Gotzborg, Archduke of Reichlau, Grand Duke of Lucerne, Marshal of the Union of Seven Nations, Lord of the Border Marches, Admiral of the Southern Reaches, Duke & Grand Elector of Jutien, Count Kendal does hereby send greetings;


WHEREAS the symbols of Our Realm signify and represent Us throughout the world;

WHEREAS their use by persons or organizations without the right or authority to use them may cause Our Realm, people and institutions to be brought into disrepute;

LET IT BE KNOWN that We of Our especial grace, certain knowledge and mere motion do by these presents declare that the use of all national symbols, including but not limited to the use of the Royal Arms, King's Arms, arms of the Royal Family, medals, ribbons, peerages, pennants, standards, armorials of citizens and organizations of the Royal Kingdom, crowns representing all ranks of the nobility, flags and icons be considered prohibited in absence of written permission to do so;

AND We direct that the use of these symbols may be granted at Our pleasure by decree to persons or organizations which hold Our favour.

AND that unauthorized use of any protected symbols shall be punishable as laid out by Article 123 and 124 of the Criminal Code of Law and by statute.

AND We do further direct and enjoin that this Royal Decree shall be read and proclaimed in such places as appropriate within the Royal Kingdom of Gotzborg.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused this Our Royal Decree by the affixation of the Royal Seal of the Kingdom to be published, by witness Ourself at Lonenberg Palace this twenty-third day of October in the seventeenth year of our reign.
