The Farrar Islands is a group of seven volcanic islands, Located in the eastern part of Micras. The seven islands are spread over several hundred miles of ocean and have a total land area of about 47 square kilometres (18 sq mi).
Geography
Climate
The Farrar Islands enjoys the year-round warm weather, with wet summers and drier winters. The rainy season is from November through to March; summer is from April to October when temperatures average 25 to 35 °C (77 to 95 °F) and humidity averages can exceed 95%. Temperatures in the winter range from 17 to 25 °C (63 to 77 °F).
Politics
The Farrar Islands have the smallest population of any democracy in Micras. The leader is called the governor and the parliament only has four seats, representing each populated island.
Military
The territory is an overseas territory of the Florian Republic and so the Florian Republic is responsible for the defence of the islands.
Population
The islands only have a population of a mere 1,117 people.
Languages
The Islanders speak English as well as a local language.

Education is free and compulsory between the ages of five and sixteen.

The Farrar Islanders use a manual telephone system.
Radio
There is no broadcast station. Foreign stations can be picked up on shortwave radio.
Transport
All settlers of the Farrar Islands arrived by boat or ship. The Farrar Islands does not have an airport, airstrip or seaport but an airport is being constructed.
