Darekau
Darekau is the capital city of Gerenian South Keltia. It is also the biggest city in the republic and in Overseas Gerenia, and its economic and political centre.
Darekau is located in Halgia Bay, in eastern Sarmat Island. It was founded on 29 May 2016 by a group of Gerenian pioneers led by Iranel Darekau. Its strategic location–near Garnat and Arel in Kalamansi Island, and with easy access to the fertile grasslands of northern Sarmat and the mountains to the west–made Darekau the main choice of the Gerenian colonists. Darekau became the capital of Gerenian South Keltia when the latter gained autonomous republic status in August 2016.
The two biggest companies in Gerenian South Keltia (Alukorp and Ferrum SK) are based on the city, as well as the regional headquarters of the Gerenian Productive Association.
