Ergatikó Kómma tou Sosialismoú, (English: Workers Party of Socialism), is a left-wing party believing in nationalisation of the services and utilities essential to the well-being of the individual and the nation. Replacement of the Monarchy with a democratic republic. Creation of a new economy consisting of publicly owned or cooperatively owned enterprises operating in a market economy. Free universal healthcare, welfare and life-long education. Abolition of the armed forces and the transformation of the Home Guard into a Peoples Defence Force.
