The 1723 elections in Taktwinkel were the first elections ever held in the nation. Besides the three traditional parties that always participated in the elections of Sankt Ludwigshafen, the Sozialprogressive Einheitspartei Aemilias of Emilia Antoinette participated and gained a huge majority, the Traditional Party of 1680 became a significant number two. The elections were the only one where the nation as a whole was still called Taktwinkel, a year later the nation was renamed to the Confoederatio Aemilia.
