The Amiral 15, also known by its market name AR-15, is an assault rifle designed and manufactured by Amiral.
History
The AR-15 was inspired by Yurish KAS, as its mechanism was reverse engineered from the Krasnocorian special forces assault rifle.
A serial production commenced in 1714 AN, when Oportian Security Forces ordered initial 50,000 rifles. The production for civilian market was granted and started in 1715.
Since its purchase by the Euran Directorate of the Honourable Company under ambiguous circumstances following the nationwide anti-government protests of 1721 AN, Amiral retained the Imperial Constancian Armed Forces as a major client for this product until 1748 AN when the majority of Constancian stocks were transferred to the Armed Forces of Zeed.
The rifle remains popular with the Security Directorate of the Honourable Company, as well as with the Trans-Euran Command of the Raspur Pact.
