Elfinschenheide Military Storage

The Elfinschenheide Military Storage, close to Elfinschenheide, Walstadt and Light in the Confoederatio Aemilia, is a storage facility operated by the Exercitus Aemilia to store decommissioned heavy military equipment. The low humidity in the tundras of southern Walstadt and Light make it a suitable location to store equipment with minimal degradation due to oxidation of metals. Among the equipment stored on the site are Flachfeuergeschütz 40/1682 anti-tank cannons produced in Sankt Ludwigshafen in the 1680's, Panzergefechtswagen I and even rare Schorpioen I Pantserstrijdwagen prototypes. Besides these land vehicles, primitive J-1 Lärm fighter planes are also stored in various degrees of disrepair as well as J-2 Schwefel cruise missiles.
