Redemption Noodles

Redemption Noodles is a no-frills roadside eatery that offers thick wheatflour noodles with a broth based on soy sauce and rice wine. It also offers a variant with beef or chicken. Fried dumplings may also be ordered on the side.

It is located in the Blackfriars district and run by the notorious Lauritz Zlota, an Honoured Son of Krasnocoria origin formerly hailing from Jaris, Nouvelle Alexandrie. Finding himself without a nationality and with a special skillset, he soon found himself engaging in odd jobs and the life of petty crime, oft an involuntary boarder at the local jail, until his corpulent frame eventually did him in, being nabbed by authorities in the course of hot pursuit after a particularly well-publicized bank robbery.

His tenure in this class of substandard government housing with substandard neighbors did little to temper his mettle, but finding himself acutely and repetitively financially challenged, despite his ESB connections and best efforts at improving his station through the use of particularly applied aggression and force, soon found himself the beneficiary of a particularly-generous old woman of Jing ancestry, who offered him a bowl of noodle soup and a roof during a particularly heavy downpour. He soon found himself becoming her bodyguard/bouncer in exchange for floorspace at night and a free bowlful 3 times a day. He eventually was prevailed upon to mop the floor and keep the store clean, graduating to learning how to cook the soup. He soon inherited the location and business when the old lady died of a palsy.

He is known for hiring the gallows bait of the Blackfriars district.
