Maxim Trant, veteran U-boat commander of the Maritime Forces of the Benacian Union, notable for sinking a number of Shirerithian merchantmen and troop transports in the Shire Sea during a three month patrol in late 1735 AN.
The details of his cruise, the highlight of which included the sinking of a gargantuan Shirerithian cruise-liner, the M/V Biternion, was a closely guarded secret until his safety return to the submarine pens at Zolt, whereupon the captain and his crew were brought to Chryse and fêted by high society.
