Sanguine Vigilate

The Sanguine Vigilate are a militant order of the United Ecclesiastical Corporation of Benacia, subordinated to the Congregation for the Protection of the Faithful. Their self-appointed task has been the pursuit and destruction of those who would deny the worship of the Highest Divinity or attempt to abjure from the Union Covenant.

Although not a numerous order, barely the equivalent of a regiment. The zeal with which they have pursued heretics within the Governorate of Araxion has earned them a fearful reputation out of all proportion to their numbers. The Magisters-Carnifex have been known to use the vigiles both as shock troops and as a source of new recruits.
