Election System

Our elections are for the Federal Assembly, the lower house of the Cortes Federales of Nouvelle Alexandrie, our national legislature. The Federal Assembly is composed of 689 Deputies, elected proportionally from each of the 12 Regions of the Federation.

The election system works as follows:

  • Activity and Campaigning (60% of the vote): This portion of the vote is determined by your engagement in the community and your efforts in campaigning for your party or candidacy. This includes your contributions to discussions, your presence in debates, the bills you propose, and your overall activity on our Discord server and MicrasWiki.
  • Server Votes (40% of the vote): This part of the vote comes directly from the citizens of Nouvelle Alexandrie - that's you and your fellow players! These votes are cast on our Discord server during the election period.

The party that had the higher vote total during the previous session may enter the election with an advantage, but may not necessarily win the majority for the next term. Parties are not competing for specific seats, but rather a proportion of seats in each region of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
