The Samhold Constabulary is an auxiliary police force on Hurmu's Samhold Island. It was raised on 19.VI.1719 AN by the EMMP-led district administration to replace the Hurmu Constabulary, after the latter was suspended by the Raudsepp government pending a planned restructuring on partisan political lines.
Although notionally comprised of part-time volunteers from the local population, the Samhold Constabulary is believed to include a significant number of former Hurmu Constabulary personnel. It has a target strength of one squadron.
With the restoration of Senatorial rule after the 1719–1720 Hurmu civil conflict, the Samhold Constabulary is administratively associated with the 7th Division of the Hurmu Constabulary, which has responsibility for Hurmudan Keltia, but retains the operational autonomy established by Mondo during Samhold's period of self-governance.
