Grenstad

Grenstad was a city in the Republic of the United Cities in the Lanzerwald. It was built on the ruins of a previous city of the same name that belonged to Zandarijn. The city was mostly abandoned following the Sack of Hamstadt when Monovian militants threatened the population. During the First and Second Ludwiggian-Monovian War the Monovian threat to the city gradually decreased and former inhabitants of Grenstad, and refugees from other parts of former Zandarijn, returned to the city. Nevertheless, the city still has a population far smaller than before the Monovian invasion as many former inhabitants fled to Craitland and did not return, or even were killed in the wilderness of the Lanzerwald.

Grenstad is a signatory to the Union of Oudorp.
