History
The town was founded in mid-2012 when the dependency of Lucerne was established by Mercury.
Geography
Vai is located on the west of the island, at the source of the Vaitafe le Lusa. It is situated next to the village of Vaitafe.
Transport
Vai is served by an hourly bus service to the city of Lusa'aii, Samiaii and Uliuli.
Culture
The Lucerne Ladies football team gather in one of Vai's three public houses, and train at the secluded local park.
