Glesmerin
Glesmerin is a small town of around 35,000 people in Northern Senya. The town is the closest town to Tiana, and is home to a passenger ferry terminal which has regular services connecting it to Surwich in Tiana. Despite being the closest town in Senya to Tiana, the island has very little Tianan influence, helped by the fact that the railway tunnel between Tiana and the mainland begins north of the city of Port Puglisi, though a regional train line does run from Port Puglisi to Glesmerin. Glesmerin train station though serves as a commuter station on the Port Puglisi commuter network, as many in the town work in that city. The majority of people in the town speak Senyan.
During the summer months, Glesmerin hosts many tourists, who enjoy the sweeping beaches and unspoilt wild grasslands nearby, and many young people in the town and surrounding villages work in seasonal jobs. Due to the lattitude, however, Glesmerin has cold, sharp winters, and snowstorms are not uncommon.
The town is host to Senyan Amateur League football club Glesmerin Town FC, and ice hockey team Glesmerin Golden Hawks, who compete in local amateur ice hockey leagues.
