Maschinenpistole 1720

The Maschinenpistole 1720 is a future weapon that is under development by Waffenschmiederei Ludwigshafen with the intention to create a new standard rifle for the armed forces of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The weapon is meant to replace the aging Repetierbüchse 1699, and will replace it from 1720 onwards. For help in the the development of this weapon, Waffenschmiederei Ludwigshafen has reached out to arms manufacturers in other Raspur Pact states.

Innovations compared to Repetierbüchse 1699

• Will use Raspur Pact standard 7.62×67mmB ammunition.
• Stock will be made out of Waldstahl.
• The weapon will be a semi-automatic rifle, rather than a bolt-action rifle.
