History
The origins of modern cinema within the Benacian Union has its origins with Shirerithian cinematography prior to the Kalirion Fracture, and has a continuity derived from the assets and personnel recovered after the fall. In spite of this, the fracture effectively terminated the old studio system - with no significant new films being released to the general audience in any of the Vulture States between 1672 AN and the reorganisation of the studio system by the Guild of the Lotus in the second decade of the eighteenth century after Norton.
