Arminsburg (Arminian: Arminsburȝ; Crandish: Arminsbuurg; Anglo-Saksen: Arminsburgh) is a city located in the mid-north region of Lorelei, in the Grand Duchy of Lac Glacei. It is formerly the capital of Arminy and seat of the Arminian Throne, currently titled to the Grand Duke of Lac Glacei. The city was reclaimed by Lac Glacei as part of the Kloss Proclamation that affirmed the Grand Duke as sole legitimate heir to the throne of Arminy and Cranda. The city was once the largest and greatest of cities in Arminy and was regaled as the center of Crando-Germanian culture on Micras. The Crandish and Arminian monarchs embellished the city with many magnificent buildings as the population swelled to several million during its heyday. The city skyline is dominated by the Volkshalle (People's Hall), 300 meters in diameter and 290 meters in height, which served as the legislative assembly building for Arminy. Although a shadow of its former self, much of the city's core has survived and, since 1702, has been undergoing preservation work by Lac Glacei. In 1710 the central plaza, which includes the Volkshalle and other historic buildings, was declared a National Heritage Site with permanent protection. By 1712 most of the plaza's buildings had been restored to their former glory thanks to generous funding by both Lac Glacei and the Anglo-Saksen Commonwealth.
