Hamuji is a city located in Lac Glacei, in the canton of Glacei, on the northern shores of Lake Glacei. It was founded by the Green Horde of Tatars who had sworn allegiance to the hordes of Chelkran Kesh in Gralus. In its heyday it eclipsed nearby Seivannavik and Alpreaux in both size and status. The Khan of Hamuji built a large fortress-palace there to protect his city, and Hamuji became one of the greatest centers of Tatar culture in the north. Although the Khan was deposed during the fall of Gralus, the city retains much of its Tatar lineage and ethnic makeup, allowing it to remain a unique pinnacle of Tatar culture within Lac Glacei.
