The 1662nd Modan Brigade is a Home Guard unit, raised from residents of Modan, Molivadia, descendants of the Modanese Migration.
At the 59th birthday of Daniyal ibn Daniyal Simrani-Kalirion in 1694, it was officially commissioned into the Imperial Constancian Army in a ceremony at New Drakorda, with select members as part of the Military Household of the Autokrator of Constancia in attendance. At that same ceremony, Shapur Vardan Sarkissian was commissioned into the Imperial Constancian Army as Taxiarchos (Brigadier).
Operationally, it is part of the 506th (Molivadia Province) Home Guard Army.
