Establishment
Novatainia is a micronation started by King Lachlan, originally just to include his friends. It has since grown beyond this and now welcomes all interested people to join as citizens. Note - site still under construction, this was just copied and pasted from the old wiki ...
King Lachlan
His Royal Highness, King Lachlan the First, Ruler of Novatainia and the Territories, has had a wise and gracious rule since his ascension to royalty on October 25th, 2006.
Government
Following a constitutional crisis in January, the Novatainian Constitution has been rewritten to avoid an inactive parliament. As such there are two houses. The House of Commons which every citizen is a member of and a Senate who’s members are voted in every 3 months. The Senate elections are scheduled for the first week of February. The senator who receives the most voters is made the President of the Senate. (The Head of Government, immediately below the King)

Ministers
Ministers are selected by the king to carry out certain duties for the Kingdom. They answer only to the king and the senate. They themselves do not need to be senators.

Magic
Novatainia is the second micronation to officially take up magic under the new Magical Charter of Micras. It's MANA academy is particuarly well defended, and its members have been instrumental in discovering and documenting many new magical creatures. It's current mages are as follows:

Novatainian magic is at the forefront of the intermicronational magical world, and is respected by all magical practioners.
After Christmas they plan to hold the first Mage War in recent micronational history.
Military
Novatainia currently has a small military under the command of King Lachlan as Commander in Chief. Some units include:
- The Army (Under the Command of General Myles)
- The Navy
- The SAS
- The Royal Guard - An elite force that is sworn to protect the King at all times. (Under the direct Command of King Lachlan)
Locations
Novatica is Novatainia's capital city. St Nova's is its main industrial port, and also the hub of its magic, with the MANA academy located here. Gideon's Landing contains its military headquarters and fleet. The Barrier, its mountain range, extends past the town of Brooke, to conclude in Arcness' Reach, the largest mountain, which has a geothermal lake, the small town of Fall, and is home to Novatainia's wild dragon population.
Sport
Rugby League
Novatainia currently has only two teams in the NNRL(Novatainian National Rugby League), Novatainia United and Novatainia West. Novatainia West was the first winner of the Prime Ministers Cup, winning 4 games to none.
Football
The NFL (Novatainian Football League) is the national league for Novatainia. It currently has eight teams, half of which are based in either Novatica or St. Nova.
The Pre-Season cup is currently underway.
Novatainia has won the bid to host the next FMF World Cup.
