Extremist organisations in Sanama
Sanama has been home to several extremist organisations ever since Shirerithian rule. These organisations were allowed to grow and prosper through the neglect of national security issues during the First Republic. A weak federal government and small cantonal governments lacked the proper resources to combat separatism and extremism. Under the Third Republic, extremist organisations are primarily investigated by the Kalisa Sivile and the National Security Service. The NSS also maintain a register of extremist organisations that have resorted to violence, incite violence, incite ethnic, religious and racial hatred, or in other ways constitute a destabilising factor for the Sanaman state. Law enforcement directed at these organisations are mainly carried out by the Kalisa Sivile and the Kalisa Rrumëli, assisted when needed by regular units from the Sanaman Armed Forces, especially in Western Shimmerspring.
