The federal government of the Alduro-Wechua Federation announced in 1689 AN that they would submit a joint Alduria and Wechua bid for the right to host the 2021 FMF World Cup. Alduria and the Wechua Nation, prior to 1675 AN, were both independent countries that united into a single Federation. Their national teams have remained separate since Federation. There has not been an attempt or a serious effort to reorganize the system to bring it under federal oversight.

The chairmen of the Royal Wechua Football Commission and the Aldurian Federation of Football issued a joint statement during a busy press conference in the Alduro-Wechua capital of Cárdenas. They were accompanied by the outgoing President of the Government Alejandro Campos and Vice-President Vicaquirao Alvarez, who also delivered their own remarks for the government's vision for the bid, coming hand in hand with the construction of ambitious infrastructure and housing projects ahead of the country's general election in late 1689 AN.
