The Istvanistani term comrade or dixiong in the Jingdaoese language, is a polite way to address others of a similar standing in the Jingdaoese Empire. It can be extended by calling someone an honorable comrade in Istvanistani, or lingyu dixiong in Jingdaoese. The term first came to use during the Jingbuist era, which started in 1592. The term can be used to address a direct supervisor, but this is not always appreciated and the term zhu, which can be translated as lord might be safer.
