Realist Faction

The Realist Faction is a political faction in Calbion existing of conservatives and liberals who were in favour of the status of Calbion as an autonomous republic of larger nations. Three waves of realist government existed during the first South Batavian era, then during the Brettish era, and finally during the Arcadian era. Currently, Calbion is an independent nation, which dillutes the debate between nationalists and realists, although the realists are more in favour of internationalism, membership of international alliances and upholding international institutions than nationalists.

The Realist Faction is the main opposition party against the government of Evyn Drakeford. The faction is currently led by former Governor-General Mackenzie Ó Gallchobhair.
