The Treaty of Corcovado is a treaty of peace and recognition between the member states of the Raspur Pact and the Confederated States of Gran Verionia that officially ended the Verionian-Raspur War. The treaty was signed in the San Augusto palace in the Verionian city of Corcovado in 1683. The treaty contains two chapters, the first one which ends the war between the Raspur nations and Gran Verionia, and the second which provides a post-war settlement between the Florian Republic, Gran Verionia and the Iron Company.

TREATY OF CORCOVADO
BETWEEN THE RASPUR PACT
AND THE
CONFEDERATED STATES OF GRAN VERIONIA

PREAMBULE

The Republic of Alduria, the Imperial State of Constancia, the Supreme Bovic Republic of Drak-Modan, the Elwynnese Republic, the Florian Republic, the Bovic Empire of the Natopian Nation, the Kingdom of Ransenar, the Emirate of Sathrati together with the Imperial Dominion of the Marquessate of Zy-Rodun and the Counties of Yardistan, Amity, and Mirioth, the Democratic Federation of Sanama, the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, the Unified Governorates of Benacia, and the Wechua Nation, Member States of the Raspur Pact, on one side, and the Confederated States of Gran Verionia, on the other, seeking to resolve the animosity of the Verionian-Raspur conflict, agree upon ending the war in peace and mutual recognition.

CHAPTER I - END OF THE VERIONIAN - RASPUR WAR

I. Both sides shall cease immediately, and indefinitely, all acts of aggression and hostility, and prevent themselves to the best of their ability to restrict forces of aggression towards the other, regardless of actor. Both parties commit to the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

II. All parties respect each the full sovereignty of the other over their respective territories as set by the Micras Cartography Society.

III. Naval boundaries between the parties are determined according to the principles set out in the Micras Convention on the Law of the Seas, namely:

a. Territorial waters extend 24 kilometers from the baseline coast. b. The reserve zone extends 360 kilometers from the baseline coast, and that the economic and environmental resources within that zone belong to the nation in question. c. If the reserve zone of Gran Verionia and a Raspur Pact nation overlap, the line of separation shall be drawn along the midpoint between the baseline of each state.

IV. All Verionian military personnel and equipment shall be withdrawn from the territory of any and all Member States of the Raspur Pact.

V. All Raspur Pact military personnel and equipment shall be withdrawn from the territory of Gran Verionia.

CHAPTER II: POST-WAR SETTLEMENT PROVISIONS BETWEEN THE FLORIAN REPUBLIC AND THE CONFEDERATED STATES OF GRAN VERIONIA

I. Both parties shall cease immediately, and indefinitely, all acts of aggression and hostility, and prevent themselves to the best of their ability to restrict forces of aggression towards the other, regardless of actor. Both parties commit to the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

II. Both parties respect each the full sovereignty of the other over their respective territories as set by the Micras Cartography Society. The Florian Republic respects the integrity of the Liberadosan nautical protection zone.

III. All Verionian military personnel and equipment shall be withdrawn from the territory of the Florian Republic.

IV. The naval blockade of Port Farrar by the Iron Fleet and the Protección de los Comerciantes shall be lifted immediately.

V. The Iron Company shall cease all operations in mainland Floria. Its subsidiaries operating in the Florian Republic shall henceforth be independent.

VI. The Iron Company, in a joint venture with PetroLib, may continue operations on the island of Togafaga and its territorial waters, and shall continue to operate the Iron Port and the Iron Company Airport.There shall be no armed Iron Militia presence on Togafaga. The Florian government shall have the responsibility for the security of Iron Company endeavours on Togafaga and shall provide adequate protection of its business interest in conclave with Company advisors.

VII. Port Farrar shall not shelter or host any vessel, aircraft or other carrier with military capabilities.

VIII. The Florian government reimburses the Iron Company for its losses suffered following the nationalisation of assets with the sum of 100.000.000 Florian Dollars.

IX. The Iron Company opens for the city of Port Farrar a fund of 50.000.000 Florian Dollars. This fund shall be used for the reconstruction of the city and for the payment of damages for the families of the victims of the accidental release of a biochemical substance during the battle of Port Farrar.
