The Eastern Circle is a circle or province of Alrig. The circle consists mostly of the territory that constituted Alrig between 1658 and 1663, with Oudstad being the original location of Alrig's capital of Driftwood. The entire nation was moved westward to profit from Jingdaoese protection in 1663. Control over the province was once again assumed in 1679, with recognition by the MCS still pending. President Hieronim Erazm is expected to assume the position of governor of the circle after he steps down as president of the Alriggian Republic in 1680.
