Federal Chancellor of Sanama

The Federal Chancellor of Sanama heads the Federal Chancellery, the support staff of the Federal Council. The chancellor directs and coordinates the work of the chancellery and reports to the Federal Council. The Federal Chancellor is elected by the Federal Assembly of Sanama for a four-year term. The appointment is a political one, with the working majority in the Federal Assembly usually electing a suitable candidate from their own ranks.
