New Zimian Temple Authority
A branch of the Temple Court, the New Zimian Temple Authority oversees the nation's monasteries, which serve as religious communities where practitioners of the Pallisican Religion lead their lives largely free from outside influences. The Temple Authority, in 857 WG, established its headquarters in Chelkran Kesh.
Politics
The New Zimian Temple Authority is governed by the Houses of Pallisican Chelkra, a legislative body consisting of elected representatives from each of the various Pallisican Monasteries, though it is officially a branch of the New Zimian Temple Court. Every four years, elected representatives in the Houses of Pallisican Chelkra vote to determine which of the Aochoe, or Lesser Paths, will guide Pallisican religious philosophy until the next election. The outcomes of these elections help to direct and influence the policies supported by the Houses of Corum, while providing the basis upon which the Council of Courts approves or rejects those policies. That said, the Houses of Pallisican Chelkra play a central, and vital role in determining the domestic and foreign policy of the Realm of Passio-Corum.
