The Aerist Militia is a Line Infantry regiment that was established by Nova England in 10.1597 in response to the lack of a viable defense force following the Nova English Diaspora. Seeking a force capable of defending the Faedertellus from hostile forces, the King created the Aerist militia from three smaller forces, welding them into a larger cohesive army. They are noted for their use of the Ondrysen Rifle, an automatic firearm that is produced and used exclusively by the militia. The unit went into hiding for many years following the collapse of Nova England, but re-emerged with the rise of their successor, Moorland. They have since joined the MAF as an official unit and are currently headquartered at Port Moorland.
